About Angelique.
“The light is not at the end of the tunnel, it is within you.
Shine brightly.”
Angelique has been teaching yoga, meditation and relaxation practices since 2012, formalising her qualifications in 2016 through Living Peace Yoga.
Having experienced chronic back pain for much of her life, Angelique turned to yoga as a way to self-manage her condition and enhance her overall wellbeing. Through consistent practice, she discovered not only physical relief, but a deeper sense of resilience, awareness and balance — an experience that continues to inform and inspire her teaching.
A devoted and lifelong student, Angelique brings an insatiable curiosity and heartfelt commitment to growth, empowering herself and others through the transformative tools of yoga. She is passionate about applying these ancient practices in practical and accessible ways to help navigate the complexities of modern life.
As the Founder of Peace it Together, Angelique is a registered Level 3 Senior Yoga Teacher with Yoga Australia, a registered member of the Meditation Association of Australia, and a qualified Yoga Therapist with over 1000 hours of formal training in Yoga, Yoga Therapy and Meditation.
With more than 15 years as a dedicated student, she has studied with respected local and international teachers including Ginny Clarke, Hanuman Das, Leslie Kaminoff, Amy Matthews, Paul Wooden, Jason Crandell, and Dr. Ganesh Mohan, as well as A. G. Mohan and Indra Mohan of Svastha Yoga & Ayuveda.
Angelique teaches regular classes and workshops throughout the Lake Macquarie region of NSW and is a regular kirtan (devotional chanting) performer at Living Peace Yoga in Toronto, NSW.

“Each of us holds within us an abundance of tools and resources that are readily accessible at any time. Yoga teaches us the means to access these resources and engage them at the times when we need them most.”
