Do you have back pain?
Have you tried everything and nothing seems to work?
The aim of this practical program is to empower you with information about the spine and your condition. Then we will provide yoga therapy techniques to aid in the management of your issue.
The workshop will include:
* Understand the components of the spine – how they fit together and move
* Discover common causes of back pain and their origins
* Experience relaxation techniques to bring calm and quiet to body and mind
* Appreciate specific yoga poses which will align, mobilise, stabilise and strengthen the spine
* Provide methods to transfer these practices into everyday life
Facilitator: Angelique Pratten is a devoted yoga teacher and yoga therapist. This topic is a passion for Angelique as she has worked extensively with yoga practices to overcome her own spinal challenges and move into a pain free life.
