Yoga for a Healthy Spine - The Spine is the Backbone of Your Practice
During this three hour workshop we will work with yoga therapy techniques to:
Understand the components of the spine – how they fit together and move
Discover common causes of back pain and their origins
Experience relaxation techniques to bring calm and quiet to body and mind
Appreciate specific yoga poses which will align, mobilise, stabilise and strengthen the
spine
Provide methods to transfer these practices into everyday life
This workshop is facilitated by Angelique Pratten who is a devoted yoga teacher and yoga therapist. This topic is a passion for Angelique as she has worked extensively with yoga practices to overcome her own spinal challenges and move into a pain free life.
